Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Who we are

Modularity (“we”, “us”) operates getmodularity.com. This is an interim privacy policy covering our pre-launch website and email sign-up list. It will be replaced with a full policy when the product launches.

For any privacy questions, contact us at: [email protected]

What we collect

When you sign up for updates or early access through our website, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • The date and time you signed up

That’s it. We don’t collect names, payment details, or any other personal information at this stage. We don’t use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels.

Why we collect it and our legal basis

We use your email address to:

  • Let you know when Modularity launches or opens for early access
  • Send occasional updates about the product

Our legal basis under UK GDPR is consent — you gave us your email voluntarily by signing up. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Where your data is stored

Your email address is stored in a database hosted by Supabase (supabase.com), our database provider. Supabase acts as a data processor on our behalf and stores data on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. Our website is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com), which may process standard technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) as part of serving the site.

Where our service providers process data outside the UK, they do so under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until:

  • You ask us to remove it, or
  • We replace this sign-up list with a full customer database at launch, at which point we’ll contact you before migrating anything, or
  • 24 months of inactivity, whichever comes first

Who we share it with

Nobody. We don’t sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing. The only parties with technical access are our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Vercel) acting under our instructions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access — ask for a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your email address at any time
  • Withdraw consent — unsubscribe or ask to be removed, with no consequences
  • Object or restrict — object to or limit how we process your data
  • Complain — lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we’ll respond within one month.

Changes to this policy

This is a temporary policy for our pre-launch period. We’ll update it before launching the full product, and material changes will be notified to anyone on our sign-up list.
